

My approach
My intention is to work with the person in front of me, whatever format that is
in (face to face, video call or over the phone, all of which I am experienced with, and all effective).
I work integratively, combining therapeutic methods from person-centred, solution-focused, CBT, internal family systems, existential, and the list grows all the time as I continue to develop my knowledge. This means I am
able to create a unique space for you using my knowledge and experience
to support you there.
A little bit about me
I have worked in counselling, psychotherapy, mentoring and life coaching for a number of years. Over time I have worked with survivors of abuse, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationships, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, trauma and many others.
I have an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice from Bath Spa University and a BSc (Hons) Person-Centred Counselling from the University of Derby. I also qualified as a Hypnotherapist in 2015, having trained at the London College of Hypnotherapy.

Relationship & Family situations
As humans, we aren’t programmed to live in isolation, but that doesn’t mean that the relationships, of any kind, that we have are plain sailing... sometimes we all need a little help to navigate that choppy water.
Bereavement, loss & illness
All of these parts of life are some of the hardest to handle and figure out, although they are an unfortunate inevitable. Talking through the emotion and feelings allows us to find a little space to process what has happened, and to find a way to face the new reality we are facing.
Depression, anxiety & stress
Life throws us curveballs, and we try to cope... whether that is through busyness and overloading ourselves, or getting caught up in thoughts that control us from the past or worries about the future. Having guidance to work these things through means that it doesn't have to feel so consuming.
